This course serves as a continuation of what was seen in your second form IT classes. It includes revision of basic computer concepts, word processing with emphasis on spreadsheet design, presentation software and an introduction to database design. A minor emphasis is placed on email facilities, Internet browsing and the integrating of these applications.

This course is designed to give all students practical expertise in creating different types of Business Documents. In addition, it will also serve as a continuation of what was seen in your Second and Third form IT classes. 

It includes topics in Basic Computer Components and Concepts, Word Processing, PowerPoint Presentations, Data Communication, Networks, The Internet and Database Management Systems.

This course is designed to prepare students for further or future training in Computer Science and/or Information Technology. It focuses on polishing students to develop skills for life in an increasingly technological world. Emphasis is placed on application of knowledge and the use of computer in advanced topics including Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database Systems. In addition, students will be introduced to the concepts of Computer Programming and problem solving techniques and Web Page Design.

This course is designed to teach students the fundamental concepts in Hardware and Software. Emphasis is placed on application of knowledge and the use of the computer in advanced topics including Data Creation, Database Management, Spreadsheets, Basic Web Page Concepts, Problem Solving, Programme Design and Implementation.

This course is to prepare student for further or future training in the field of Information Technology or to sit the IT CSEC Examination (CXC).
